Well to be honest if you work out the wage and pensions for over 500 employees over a six year period those people might actually have a point lol.
Alongside that, you do realise the only and main point of a company is to create profit, that's it and everything.

I understand the point of a business is to make money. But you can't tell me there haven't been shady business practices used by Bungie. Will we ever know what TTK was supposed to include? We don't know what weapons were cut due to time gating them. Maybe the 50 fragments would drop a y2 ghorn but now they can have it drop a common sparrow and nobody would know the difference. The product we paid for has been modified after purchase. I sincerely hope this game fails, and that sucks to say because I loved it until TTK. Why do I hope it fails? To save the gaming industry and teach them that this shit isn't ok.

Edited by Ne0nK0ala: 12/11/2015 1:19:20 AMThe fact that you are speaking with opinion and trying to turn into fact means you don't know what you are talking about. Wear a tin foil hat all you want but don't use opinion as fact, because it simply isn't. The fact is "we don't know". As we don't with any game, was black ops supposed to include all those dlc maps originally? Guess what no one knows, but apparently cods community isn't as childish as destinys. Might wash with the forums group of 5 year olds but not with me.

Edited by AscendantBarrin: 12/11/2015 1:37:13 AMI knew somewhere in my posts someone was going to resort back to insults instead of fulfilling an adult conversation throughout the entire topic. I won't respond with insults but will reply: You are not sure if the product we bought has been modified? Are you really going to say "we don't know"? E3 release trailer - watch it and tell me if anything is different (this is just 1 point) I'm sure the community can come up with a lot more Is pretty sad that several people apologized for getting things wrong during the TTK videos to try to save face and hype the next DLC instead of apologizing right away.
-
It wasn't an insult it was the truth, you were talking with opinion not fact, yet you put it out like fact. Sure the trailer was different, games change, plans change, opinions change. Have you seen anything in that trailer since? No. So does that confirm anything you just said about any of the dlcs? No. As such that's an invalid point that only confirms they removed something from the game, wow big deal lol.
-
It is a big deal, its false advertisement....what are you talking about man/woman? Would Apple get away advertising an iPhone having 256GB, and ship the product with 32GB? Are you going to turn around and say "Wow big deal, i paid for 256GB but only got 32GB, who cares im awesome and understand the world" stfu.
-
It's actually not, if you look it says subject to change on that trailer as it does with every game that has yet to be released.
-
Its not just the trailer its the whole campaign that Bungie did to advertise this game...plus wtf would the "subject to change" even mean for a game trailer....its like a movie trailer with "subject to change" what kind of change? Like we get a different actor/actress to the one shown in the trailer once the film actually releases? There is a reason that the initial reviews for this game were bad.
-
Subject to change means anything and everything in the trailer could be changed. I don't know if you know what happened at bungie, but here is the gist of it: A few months before the original release date for destiny bungie put a supercut together showing the whole game in one film, basically a quick way for execs to get up to speed with how the game plays. The execs watched and didn't like how it played, so they extended the release date and cut huge elements of the story to work with how the game plays now, now that could have been a poor decision or a great one, we don't know. However that does not show that they cut content to sell it back, they would have had plenty of time to make dlc content over that year and probably already had some done.
-
Yes i heard that story, nor you or i will be able to say "yeah thats exactly what happened" one thing that did happen tho is people bought the game based on original advertisement, we were never made aware of the rehash until we bought it.

Edited by Ne0nK0ala: 12/11/2015 8:46:13 PMSure but you can say that about many games, it's not just destiny. 2014-2015 was terrible for games, and don't forget the one that started it all, the worst game to be released in years by Ubisoft, watch dogs. Remember the hype for that?
-
unfortunately (or i guess fortunately), watchdogs never grabbed my attention so i never got caught in that hype
-
Definitely a fortunate thing, destiny is -blam!-ing heaven compared to watch dogs.
-
It was an insult.

Edited by Ne0nK0ala: 12/11/2015 3:30:31 AMNo an insult would be something like this: you're a fat lazy twat. Not that you're speaking in opinion and not fact ahaha, that is called a comment, used in conjunction with an argument to disprove the opposite argument.
