[b]The Galactical Escapade[/b]
The ship was seemingly calm. The crew still recovering from the damage Python had caused earlier today....he made things difficult for them, but he was gone from them now. Hopefully things would go smoother from here on out. Without a general from the Galactic Feds, it was difficult getting supplies like ammunition or food or booze, but they were making it. Maybe by the skin of their teeth, but they were making it.
Carl walked up to the airlock, he was on his lunch break. He stood there, looking out at space with a sandwich in his hands. Lettuce, ham, mayo, tomato and cheese, his favorite. Payday too, it was a good day....or so he thought.
About four miles out from the cruiser, there was a massive ship. A Leviathan. It had just exited warp and was heading straight for the Escapade. Carl ran, trying to alert an official or officer or champion, whatever they called themselves....but he was to late. The Leviathan slammed into the Escapade, dropping a massive door from the front of the ship. Horde after horde of monster poured out. Fanatics taking point, followed by Grunts, Berserkers, Medics and Broodmothers. One of the Broodmothers swung it's massive arm, spewing Phazon at troops. Carl was hit by the Phazon and cut down by a Grunt. He laid there for a while, unmoving. Then he moved. Standing with blue eyes and blue glint coming from his chest.
The Corrupted are here....

His dual adamant emery katanas, cutting the beast down as he was moving, he steered clear from the attacks that were being sent for him, sliding, jumping, diving, rolling and all of the above. [/i]

"Or did I miss the party, and this is the hangover?" Sola chuckles as she gets out of the crate.

You see a blue figure floating above the battlefield then it clears, gone. [spoiler]Fitting into Jenny's post[/spoiler]

[b]A familiar ship speeds into the hanger and starts mowing down the Phazon creatures with it's laser cannons[/b] [spoiler]guess who's back?[/spoiler]

It's brought down quickly by Broodmothers using their Phazon launchers...

[b]a man jumps out of the cockpit and starts flying around with his jet boots spraying crowds of them with his flame projector and tossing grenades[/b]

A Broodmother grabbed him from the sky and dragged him to the floor, starting to draw her sword.

[b]he shoots her with a laser pistol and his flame projector[/b] "I'm getting too old for this shit"

It's not enough as the blade is drawn and she swings down at his neck.

[b]Joshua rushes into the hangar at extreme speed, cutting down the corrupted as he sprints.[/b]

He is clotheslined by a Berserker. This one was armed with a massive axe, made of orange hard light. He hefted it up and began to swing down at Joshua.

[b]He rolls out of the way, standing up and stabbing the creature.[/b]

[b]you see Delta run into her pelican but she only has one arm[/b]

[b]After impaling the monster, he slices the head of another weaker one off, slinging its rifle into his hands and gives you covering fire.[/b]

[b]she gets in the pelican and moth ns you over.[/b] "Lets go!"

[b]He gives a quick head shake and dives back into the fray, after waving you to go.[/b]

[b]she takes off and soon blacks out in her pelican leaving Eve to fly the pelican[/b]

The Berserker chuckles, grabbing Joshua by the arm and swinging him against the wall as he pulled the sword out of his chest.

The Berserker rushed at you, raising his weapon but revealing a chink in his armor. Just below the stomach...

The monster fell to its knees, only to be replaced by more Berserkers and....Broodmothers. They had already began turning troops into Corrupted...
