Sure bungie anit perfect, nothing in this world is, and honestly if they were things would be worse, being imperfect gives them reasons to strive to be perfect.
Sure they also have lacked things like quick updates in the past, however this new live team have been implemented to fix that, with the help of microtransactions, they hope to build a constantly updating destiny, and there is a lot coming to the game real soon, and most likely for free.
In fact some believe (and eurogamer has even quoted an employee saying that) bungie will no longer release dlcs until destiny 2, bringing the focus on a free release schedule that is supported by microtransactions.
In my opinion that sounds like an awesome future for destiny. And that's what you are asking for right? A halo 5 model, with the content of fallout 4?

I was just saying that other triple A games are doing much more then Bungie in a much smaller amount of time

This is the first major mmo like game from bungie and on console, in many ways bungie are experimenting to find the right content release schedule, and the right pricing strategy for that on consoles. Normally something like this would be free for base and then you'd pay a subscription like elder scrolls online, which charges you for your first month with the purchase of the game. However I don't think that would work for bungie, they do need to come up with something though.
