Jarle reaches up to the sword, and snaps it near his wound. He then fires all six shots from his revolver into the new Broodmothers face, and throws it into his holster while he grabs for the Power Sword he dropped. After managing to grab it, he swings it up between the Broodmothers legs, and the blade digs halfway into its abdomen.
