You could let up get clear and then charge back up it isn't necessary to crowd up hell I wait 10 seconds at start sometimes then charge through past.

It really threw me off. Yesterday's racing seemed a lot tamer, today people were knocking me all over the place.

Yes I have noticed this too! Yesterday seemed a lot tamer.

I noticed a uptick in that when school was out the racing was pretty civil all day and not 49 minutes after my son got home I saw a uptick in crazy racing. I find I do better when I'm not trying to win just have fun your gonna get rewards anyway.
