The ones that cause me to post this... Everyone is expecting the MIDA to be the new Go-To PvP weapon. Everyone expects it to be Overpowered, or perform better than most. However.... It won't. Here's the interesting thing about the MIDA. I have been desiring it since Day One and using it since Xûr sold it the Second time. I have over 22000 kills with this gun. I almost never again played with another Primary in PvE since I bought it, even during Elemental Burn Nightfalls. And because of that, I tell you: The MIDA isn't overpowered, simply because it's the most well-rounded and balanced Exotic in the game. Both Lore-Wise and in actual Gameplay, the MIDA is a perfectly balanced weapon, and rightfully feels like so. The Impact and RoF can be found in pretty much any other Scout Rifle. The Range is rather okay. The Stability is tolerable. The Reload speed is fast. The Exotic Perk is simple, direct and yet powerful. There is quite literally Nothing outstanding about this gun, and that's why it is outstanding. It's balance is unmatched, and thus, the Player Skill is the deciding factor on wether it will be a Beast or a Dunce. So before someone calls for a Nerf, know this: If you got killed by it, there are two reasons: A) You messed up and deserved it. B) Your opponent was very skilled and surpassed you.
