Consumed Light: New Subclass for all Classes

So i got another idea for a Subclass with the Element “Consumed Light“. We would have one Mission where we go to the Realm of the Taken to take their power for once and all, but something goes wrong and instead of getting it into an Orb, we get their powers. The Class for Warlocks is called “Lightdrawer“. The Class for Titans is called “Ruin Sentinel“ and the Class for Hunters is called “Blight Eater“. The Subclass has a Blood Color (Dark Red). I will put each Subclass into a Spoiler. Take the time and look at it. Open for suggestions. Warlock: Lightdrawer [i]Take the power from the Light of your Enemys, let them feel the Darkness.[/i] [spoiler]Grenade 1: [b]Bloodlover[/b] [i]Create a Core by impact which “tethers“ enemys blinding them for a short time.[/i] Grenade 2: [b]Lightbomb[/b] [i]Create a bomb from the rest of your inner Light which detects enemys in range and kills them if stucked on them. (Requires at least 50% of Life because the Ability take 50% of your Life)[/i] Grenade 3: [b]The Drawer[/b] [i]Put a Mine on Walls or on Floors, Enemys who step on it will get slowed down and get a Blood Effect drawing 7 Lifepoints from them for about 3 Seconds. On impact it deals 92 Damage. (Warlocks only, small Impact Radius)[/i] Melee: [b]Fury[/b] [i]Revenge the Darkness for their loss and hit Enemys leaving a Vortex behind which creates Orbs every time a Enemy get damaged by it. (Orbs have only a small amount of Super Energy in them [/i] Jump: [b]Wormhole[/b] [i]Disappear and make a short teleport underground.[/i] Super: [b]Vampire[/b] [i]Drain your Enemys Light and Darkness into your Body. Create a Aura around your Body, Enemys in sight lose their Health slowly and you restore your Health. (Bounded to L1 and R1, tethers to Enemys and slowly draws the Health, yes they can escape, Range is about 5 meters, Super lasts 9.8 seconds)[/i] [u]Vampire Perk 1:[/u] [b]Regeneration[/b] [i]Instead of restoring your Health, restore the Health of your Team in a range of 6 meters[/i] [u]Vampire Perk 2:[/u] [b]Immortal[/b] [i]On activation gain a Immortality until the first Kill, after the Kill have lower Defense. [/i] [u]Vampire Perk 3:[/u] [b]Power of Blood[/b] [i]Every Kill increases the duration of Vampire for 1.2 Seconds. (Stackable up to 4 times only)[/i] [/spoiler] Titan: Ruin Sentinel [i]Destroy their Dreams, take down their Shields, unleash your Strength.[/i] [spoiler]Grenade 1: [b]Bloodlover[/b] [i]Create a Core by impact which “tethers“ enemys blinding them for a short time.[/i] Grenade 2: [b]Lightbomb[/b] [i]Create a bomb from the rest of your inner Light which detects enemys in range and kills them if stucked on them. (Requires at least 50% of Life because the Ability take 50% of your Life)[/i] Grenade 3: [b]Berserk[/b] [i]Throw multiple Bombs around you creating a quacke which deactivates Abilitys from Enemys. (Not affecting Supers, Titans only) [/i] Melee: [b]Punish[/b] [i]Push your Enemys with the Anger of your Fallen Teammates. Creates a Bleeding Effect for 2 Seconds dealing 5 Damage every 0.9 seconds.[/i] Jump: [b]Swirl[/b] [i]Swirl yourself forward[/i] Super: [b]Shadowstorm[/b] [i]Focus the Shadow in you and unleash the Storm making the Ground underneath Dark. Enemys stepping into it will get targeted by Bombs falling from the Air. (Super lasts 14 seconds)[/i] [u]Shadowstorm Perk 1[/u]: The longer the Enemys stay in the dark Ground the slower they will become, getting a easier target for the Bombs. [u]Shadowstorm Perk 2[/u]: Enemys stepping into the Ground makes them blind (4 Seconds) [u]Shadowstorm Perk 3[/u]: Your Team gain a Bonus to Armor and Recovery if they step into the Ground (+2 Armor and +1 Recovery) [/spoiler] Hunter: Blight Eater [i]You heard the Legends about the Darkness and now, now you became a Legend.[/i] [spoiler]Grenade 1: [b]Bloodlover[/b] [i]Create a Core by impact which “tethers“ enemys blinding them for a short time.[/i] Grenade 2: [b]Lightbomb[/b] [i]Create a bomb from the rest of your inner Light which detects enemys in range and kills them if stucked on them. (Requires at least 50% of Life because the Ability take 50% of your Life)[/i] Grenade 3: [b]The Shadow[/b] [i]Throw a Blight above your Head which have the same Suppression Effects as the normal ones. (This Blight is smaller, its gonna glow Red if you shoot it, Hunters only)[/i] Melee: [b]Crawler[/b] [i]Scratch your Enemys Blood out of their body. On Hit take a part of their Super. (Also working for Supers but takes less)[/i] Jump: [b]Ground Blink[/b] [i]Make a short Teleport forward. (Like Taken Thralls)[/i] Super: [b]Veil of Shadows[/b] [i]Melt into the ground and become a Shadow. Attack them and pull them into the Ground. (Still able to kill him but Hitbox is on the Ground, Super lasts 13 Seconds) [/i] [u]VoS Perk 1:[/u] [b]Eclipsed[/b] [i]Moving into a Shadow from Minions of Darkness or Guardiand grantd you a Overshield[/i] [u]VoS Perk 2:[/u] [b]Tenebrous Traveler[/b] [i]Move faster than normally, revive your Allies faster, deal less damage (Movem. Speed is 37% faster, Revive Speed is as fast as with Light Beyond Nemesis and less damage is 25% so no One Hit anymore)[/i] [u]VoS Perk 3:[/u] [/spoiler] And another thing, as usual there are the Perks for Armor, Recovery and Agility. So i guess that the Warlock mostly will have Recovery Perks, the Titans will have the Armor and the Hunters for sure will have Agility. Still need Jumps and the Super for the Hunter. ^^ [u]Edit 2:[/u] Just to be clear, Consumed Light should not be a Taken Subclass as we know them right now, these are some sort of Guardians who went bad and stole the power of the Taken. The Story itself has to be with a few changes. Thats why the Color is not blue but dark red. (( PvE only )) Hammer of Sol < SledgeHammer of Sol StormTrance < ThunderTrance NightStalker < ShadowStalker Striker < EarthShatter Voidwalker < VoidRunner Bladedancer < SwordDancer Defender < Tower of The Saint Sunsinger < Wings of the Angel Golden Gun < Shining Rifle Your guardian releases the same aura the taken had wrapped around them and become half consumed, but keep entire control of themselves and their action.

  • I don't think this will work because Toland was exiled for learning Hive magic so these subclasses worn be allowed in the tower. And melee that drops orbs is a bit over powered

    • lore wise, this would never work. destiny is all about defeating the darkness wherever it is, and this is all about using the darkness against the light. the story wouldn't work. you would become the very thing which you sought to destroy. it sounds cliche but it's true

      • A Taken Subclass? Why not? Upon activating your super you go into 3rd person and take on the black and white color scheme. A Taken Guardian... I'll take it!

        Sounds dumb... Titan Super is fist of havoc with the persisting effect basically, you give Hunters and Titan more ability suppressing perks when it's Warlock who truly needs one. Really the concept isn't bad but the actual abilities all sound so awful and misbalanced that I'd prefer it never happened.

              • It would be nice to have a "bare bones" subclass... where we are all equal. Titans, Hunters, Warlocks. Maybe have it a kinetic subclass... everyone gets the same abilities.

                  I like it... I love the idea that eventually in destiny we'll be able to embrace the Darkness & learn to wield it like Light, like Toland or Osiris. I love the hunter subclasses super.

Enemies can still shoot you as a shadow, but your hitbox is on the ground.                         • hunter: DeathRobber "A shadow never dies, simply changes shape" grenades: shadow bomb: through a grenade that releases 6 cluster bombs upon detonating, (like a rocket launcher) torment grenade: toss a grenade that sticks to enemies and slowly drains their health and the health of nearby enemies (small radius) bloodbomb: throw a grenade that releases a goop of pure darkness, damaging anyone in the initial blast and slowing them down greatly (also prevents double jumping) melee: shadow strike: your melee attack activates near instantly and suppresses any enemy it hits (for 4 seconds) upgrades: shadow dodge: upon hitting a target with shadow strike, gain a buff for 11 seconds that causes the next melee attack against you to miss quick blade: decrease the cooldown of shadow strike and increase it's damage (to that of pre-buff storm fist) double edged: gain a second charge for shadow strike. double tapping the melee button with two full charges allows you to deal double damage in the same time-frame as a single shadow strike super: accursed: increased recovery for any ally near you, any ally near you gains health when ever you get a kill. kills cause explosions. upgrades: till' midnight: kills with explosions from this super cause explosions (for an infinite chain). explosions are bigger. twice live: revive teammates instantly. reviving teammates generates orbs. teammates can be revived under any conditions. contagious curse: accursed can now be cast after death. doing so causes a VERY large explosion emanating from your murderer, killing them and anyone caught in the blast (basically a dark fist of havoc). random upgrades (column 1): till' death: explosions caused by accursed are more damaging and have a chance to deal precision damage (multiplier of 2x) hells kitchen: shadow strike causes damage over time and getting a kill with shadow strike has a chance to cause the target to explode (like accursed) remembrance: damaging a target causes them to be marked and take additional damage for 17 seconds random upgrades: (column 2): bloodlust: grenades cause minor DoT and mark targets they damage for 6 seconds overflow: you can store an extra 1/2 grenade charge and 1/2 melee charge that are used as the starting point after you use the respective ability hive mind: link all allies together when super is active. when one gets a kill, the others get a damage and defense boost for 3 seconds. stacks up to 4 times with a max duration of 8 seconds. the hunters need a better support class than night stalker.

                        • Colour should be that of the Taken, that blackish/greenish thing, and using it makes your Guardian have a permanent Taken look, not exactly the same, but put of you is consumed by the Taken corruption, and is reflected in the colour scheme. Titan Super should summon the small Taken Blight grenades that you see hanging in the air around the bigger blights, and have them detonate with enemies. Also, instead of taking enemies Light, you feed off the Darkness. Also, when within Darkness Zones your respawn counter is reduced by 25%, with the counter effect being when not in the Darkness Zones you can only be revived by others with a Taken subclass and you have to wait 20 seconds to revive if you die.
