One of my friend license transfer the DLC with me as he did for the season pass.. the only thing i really wish to have saved up at that time was $60 when i bought this game off of Xbox live marketplace, i really feel like im regretting this game.. because of what the year 1 players like myself went through (and im very surprised that many of the year 1 players is not as pissed off even though Bungie/Activision is taking people's pockets like they did for the past 2 DLCs, hell even the beta game) when it was searching for Materials to staying on level 29 for god knows how long. Grinding constantly by playing the same missions over and over again, PS players getting hawkmoon and other stuff while Xbox users are just NOW getting it right when the DLC comes out so just about most of them will not upgradable.
I spent hours onto this game and when Bungie announced that The Taken King was for $40 and $60 for the players that didn't have to suffer for year 1 and the ones who have yet to buy the game. I knew that sooner or later i was going to stop playing this game for good. Im going to record my final match in destiny, then i will fully erase the game from my hard drive, if only i could get a refund and get my money back. Im disgusted with Bungie and im no where near surprised with Activision since i have seen their tatics when it goes to COD but this is a all-new low for them. When Luke Smith said that the fans was gonna be throwing money at the screen... he knew he was right, yet bungie dare issue out an apology to me when that apology does not mean anything to me due to them not really doing a damn thing about it. What do they do to try and satisfy a year one player like me? They release a black looking shader and some sparrows and stuff when it is all set and done they will either be obsolete in future patches or they will just be there for show and say you have it because im a year one player.
I won't lie and say i didn't have my fun with Destiny as i truly did, but i should have known where this game would have went since its 1st patch when the game released, where they nerfed auto rifles because "they was being used too much" when really all they had to do was buff Pulse rifles and Handguns as the multiplayer when you look back at it was balanced at launch as no one was really complaining.. but now.. every new patch when it goes to something being nerfed or buffed, it will be known as this gun being op and such.
Thank you Destiny community for being positive on the game... but even negativity can be a positive thing, thank you Destiny for the good moments with it and the bad ones.
Spectacularpooh signing off of Destiny.

Amen Brother! I can only reiterate all you have said. I've been in it since day one too and have worked for all the prizes. I liked putting the effort in to getting weapons that were exclusive that no one else had, but could get. My frustrations are every time someone complained about not having a bad ass gun, Bungie nerfed it and they nerfed many times making it not fun to fight. "Squeaky wheel gets the grease". Crota was the last fun raid. Friends didn't mind going through a few times to help friends, but King's Fall requires too much grind and no one wants to go through it more than once per week. I am hanging up my hat at 309 light. My Brother is 317 and he is too mostly due to the low crappy drop rate for all the hard work and the in game purchases??? Bad idea. A bunch of us have recently purchased the other popular games, but haven't played them because of the massive grind it takes to keep up every week in Destiny. My final comments are to Bungie: Bungie, I think you are reaching YOUR destiny! It has been fun, but not anymore.
