A suggestion to earn higher profits...

As company, profit is obviously important. Having followed the recent controversy about the patch, I came to the conclusion that if there really has been a rounding error, and everything is working as intended, that the Autorifle buff, more specifically the 0.004% buff, was a waste of money. Having people think of a 0.004% buff, code this, implement it and test a change which won't affect actual gameplay (this is actually the most crucial part. 0.004% can make a pretty "big" change, if the numbers are big enough. However in our case, they aren't), is a waste of money. You de facto paid your staff for occupational therapy there. And it gets even worse! The damage control after the patch went live, surely demanded paid overtime, and might even had the necessity of contacting consulting/PR/marketing firms, to deal with the issue as well. In the future, to not impact profits, it's probably a good idea to not pay people to make useless changes.
