" The Light forsakens it's warriors. It left me to die. And then the Darkness picked me up, closed my wounds, fixed my broken bones, and gave peace to my broken mind. All Darkness asks of me is to stop the brutal dictatorship that the Light has over everyone here."

"Heh... Maybe I will. I'll just do that: Succeed where you failed. But to start, I'm going to need a few things of yours..." Once again, sorrow's many tendrils emerged from the ground all over the city. But instead of attacking, the tendrils all arched over in great arcs, drooping down into the square where Switch and Aries were, and connecting with Switch's body at their epicentre. Soon enough every tentacle in the city was linked to Switch, burrowed into his back. "Let's start by taking your sorrow" Within moments, every tendril in the city twisted and evaporated into a thick black mist. The mist converged on Switch as all of it diffused into his body, eventually becoming fully absorbed. Sorrow was gone. All that remained of him was a voice inside the heads of both Switch and Aries.

'Son of a bitch. You did it, Aries...'

" Do as you will. It matters little to me. My part in this bloody chapter is done. I've transferred the mantle of Champion of the Darkness to you. Now it is up to you. And once you fall from the Light, there is no turning back." Aries started walking away. All of his abominations were recalled. Soon he disappeared. All that was left was the destruction and the death.

"No..." Switch fell to the ground in utter defeat. He felt nothing but the sorrow he had absorbed, and his whole body ached with the pain within. He didn't know what to do, or even how to react with what had just happened. He just lay in the dirt and rubble on his back, and looked hopelessly into the sky. "Aries... I will find you... And I will kill you..."

Erik knelt down beside him. 'I can end it for you...'
-
"No. I'm gonna find that motherf*cker, and end him in the most grueling way I can muster. Only then am I willing to die happily"
-
'You won't die happily, believe me. You might have a short time where you're blissful, but it's downhill from there.'
