Also on the note of vegetation, let's take a look at some of the grass Pokemon because I'm pretty sure some of them are edible

Funny thing about that there are two options if you actually look at the games and the show most of the region's they are in are surrounded by water implying that they are islands in which I said I would do. Or you could look at X & Y where the fine dining Battle restaurants in the main city are serving you Pokemon gotta read that fine print

And where would the meat come from... because if I was to create a world strictly with Pokemon on it I assumed they would be pretty much the counter parts of the species we already have on this planet... so I guess I'll be enjoying some tepig bacon, milktank veal, some eggs from Blaziken.... the list goes on and on and on
