The closest of sorrow's tentacles to the traveler were instantly vaporised by the shockwave, while others further away screeched in pain and agony. The blast also levelled any buildings directly beneath the traveler, and caused both Switch and Aries to be flung forward and separated. Jaden took cover in a nearby building as the blast passed through, before going back outside and getting ever closer to James.
