I chuckled and picked up the phone as I started to head for my car, walking down a flight of stairs. The light from the windows being absorbed. Renzo:"Hello?" Etana:"What's up kid? How you doing?" Renzo:"Hey dad, I'm doing fine. How are you?" Etana:"I'm doing alright, currently on break right now and I decided to check up on mini me after the first week." Renzo:"Mini you huh? Funny. The first week of school is pretty good, met a lot of interesting people, classes aren't bad, teachers aren't stuck up." Etana:"That's great! I'm assuming you've met Johnathon and his sister already?" I reach the door to get outside to the parking lot and I opened it heading for my car Renzo:"Yeah thanks for the heads up dad." I said sarcastically "You could've at least told me you knew about them." Etana:"What's the fun in spoiling things huh? Well then. Your not doing anything your not supposed to right?" Renzo:"I know dad, no drinking, no drugs and no fighting." Etana:"You already broke the last one Renzo." Renzo:"Wait what?! How do you know that?" I say a bit shocked Etana:"I'm your father, I know everything." He chuckles " so any girlfriend yet?" Renzo:"No spoilers." I laugh and chuckle Etana:"Ha ha very funny. Well I got to go, just called in. Behave yourself, love you." Renzo:"Love you too dad." With that said I hung up the call and slid the phone into my pocket. Meanwhile, I start my car and head for the batting cage. The bat was high tech, a sleek black metal coat, carbon fiber laced to be exact. Although football was more of my sport, I didn't think the boarding school even had a team. Eh whatever, the batting cage was fun and gave me something to do, plus it can help with reaction time, hand to eye coordination and more. In a way, it was like training. I chuckle and head down to the batting cage.
open
