It's not that they are "overpowered". They just take, as you said, less skill to use when compared to a few other games. However, they aren't hard to deal with if you spot them first. Just don't stick your head up or think you can challenge one at a distance. I do wish they'd add sway to the mix though.

look at this video. a sniper turns, aims and headshots a playwr that is 3 meters away from him while the sniper is walking back. You dont se a problem with a sniper turning on a dime aiming while moving at a guy a few meters away from him and landing a head shot??? this video ahould be a one in a milliin lucky shot. sadly its not. if you play crucible this happens all the time.

we won the game. we went to the lighthouse as I do all weeks with all 3 characters. I was not expecting to one shot him, if he disnt pull that crap sniping I would have landed a second shot and be done with it. Using a sniper is a tradeoff. you can kill at a ljng distance but you are vulnerable at close range. the shotty is the exact opposite. when you have a sniper that can shoot you at ling range and also scoope you at 3 meters, lightning fast, while moving, even a kindergartner will understand there is something wrong.

Edited by Rauko: 12/14/2015 3:53:50 PMdo this. go to mars. look for a cabal with a shield and aim at his exposed shoulder with your sniper. shoot! youll be surprised to see an IMUNE sign pop up. repeat the test. happens every time. why you may ask. because the bullet magnetism to the head is so ridiculously high that it pulls the bullet to the cabals head. in this case it works against you because the head is behind the shield. now you see how snipers work and why they are ruining the crucible.

Yes because for him to actually snipe your head from 3 meters is impossible. There must be some kind of explanation right? You making it to the light house 3 times a week means nothing to me. I'd beat you at your own game or using any other weapon. Good players adapt to whatever the meta is.
