Here's a question.
How many Guardians here remember Quodron's debut?
Follow-up question.
How many of us killed him before Bungie neutered him?
I totally forgot how much of a pain in the ass this guy was his first week. My group eventually downed him, but it took some elbow grease. A comment in these forums reminded me that he exists.
Always remember.
Lest we forget.
Edit: The creepiest part of Quodron is his grimoire. He's a Vex Gatelord, yeah, but the kicker is that he's in the prison willingly.

"He was easy." - The Guardian in a Fireteam of 3 Gjallarhorns
-
Yep same here I used Ice Breaker, VoC and Corrective measure. It took my group a good 2 hours but it's all good.

Edited by filthee19: 12/18/2015 7:30:40 AMRequired really tight teamwork. Had a couple of randoms ask for help. Most frustrating hour of my life before I left them to it. They just wouldn't listen and stick to a strategy.
-
That was actually a Fight i was proud of completing. After the nerf it was too easy.
-
I remember that. Most people be like "i know its lv 32 but you all need to be 34 with gjarados to kill him. Kinda true.
-
Pain in the ass.
-
Don't bring back bad memories.
-
That was the most frustrating fight in destiny that I've ever experienced
-
Killed him pre nerf
-
3 Ballerhorns. You got him in 30 secs or you wiped - nothing in between.
-
He was hard but I beat him with 2 others
-
Ahh nostalgia... :)
-
I totally forgot about the son of a bitch quodron. He was very difficult to beat, but eventually we beat him four or five times when he was the 34 boss. Fml was that a pain, but looking back... It wasn't that bad. Something should be hard...

2 Titans bubbles 3 ghorn and a heavy synth
-
Fatebringer, Found Verdict or Black Hammer & GHorn FTW!
-
Oh god why did you have to bring those memories back? Prison of Elders was the most stressing, non-fun experience I've ever had in a videogame, and Quodron was the worst of them all.
-
Too bad we dont still do poe bosses. They were really a challenge and fun
-
I remember the first its I ever beat him was when I had to use self resurrect after we all wiped in the detain fields, then spammed fusion grenades on him before the next set of detain fields.
-
The first time me and my team tried it we beat him... The kicker was we were under leveled and it took us most of an hour alone
-
Yea that was a real challenge on that first encounter, especially if people were underleveled

Edited by Power: 12/16/2015 5:32:30 PMWeapons of light + 3 Ghorns made it a little easier.
-
Getting horrible flashbacks of using 8 Shotty shells from a Found Verdict and still didn't pop....
-
Throwback. I remember not having a problem with it though. Every time my team just did a gally melt.

I like a challenge but I don't know what bungie was thinking making a 3 player only boss harder than a 6 player raid boss
I qoudron had 6 players he'd still be harder than Atheon or crota
-
I killed him. After half an hour.
Qodron's not the prisoner here Guardian, you are.
That's NOTHING compared to arc burn Skolas. My group spent five hours on him. Countless synthesis wasted. Only to find out that The Fourth Horseman was the answer.
