[b]He continued firing at the newcomers[/b]
This taking to long... And isn't doing anything but wasting energy.
[b]His Tactical Display scanned his environment, looking for advantages he could use, before indicating a weak point in a nearby crumbling skyscraper[/b]
Perfect.
[b]He activated his jump jets, and flew towards a steel beam, and shoulder check it, causing the entire building to collapse onto the advancing Corrupted with a loud [i]boom[/i], followed by a cloud of dust
Phantom climbed out from the rubble[/b]
Now... Where is the General.

It only slowed the forces, them slowly regaining the ground they lost. The General was most likely watching the battle, atop the World Eater.

[b]He in the distance , and saw the World Eater smashing through Skyscrapers and blasting Phazon onto the panicked civilians [/b] Heh. Couldn't have been simple, Eh? [b]His jump jets activated once again, and he started to sprint before taking off towards the World Eater, and maybe even the General, in order to stop this[/b] [b]He opened his Comm channel and signaled the others[/b] [Comms]: The civilians are most likely all corrupted in some way. We need to stop the Phazon at its source. We need to take down the General. I'm in route now, and anyone else who can, meet me. Python.... It's time for your Limiter. See if you can't bring this thing down a peg.

There is chuckling through the other end of the comms, followed by a sickening snap and a gunshot. "Yes ma'am." He began to grow, right where he stood, toppling nearby Corrupted troops. He swung his leg around to face to World Eater, the leg crushing and smashing troops. "I'll bring him down, get the General." Python lunged at the World Eater.

[b]Phantom released the safeties from his jump jets, and was a blur as he he sped towards the General His HUD locked onto him, and he formed a Hard Light Barrier as he slammed into it, throwing him across the back of the World Eater[/b] I don't believe we've been introduced. [b]The panels on his armor cooled from the air friction[/b] I'm the Grim Reaper. And your time has come.

As the General began to stand, the World Eater began to fall. Python was bringing the beast down, crushing troops on both sides. Python began to pound the World Eater's head as the General stood, drawing his axe. "Grim Reaper? Don't believe that you can steal my title..." There's movement behind you...

[b]He quickly twisted around and boosted away[/b] You think your able to take me down? Wasn't your last General killed by me, along with thousands of your comrades?

Ginger leaps behind you, probably getting a good twenty feet of air before coming back down on your assailant, intercepting the ground with his head, "Well, that was between the two of us, technically."

Ginger mutters something about you and Python under his breath as he pulls out a Hard Sound rifle. The thing looks unwieldy as hell, but somehow that makes it look even more deadly. "One shot, and his brain hemorrhages, but I can't guarantee anything. I'm a good shot, but the blast could go anywhere."

[b]Phantom looks at the weapon[/b] To finish, him? I'd say do it. But how big is the gun's radius?

"Fairly small, like a certain few parts of you. I'll need to be close to make the shot though, and I'll only have one opportunity." He leverages the rifle, and slowly advances.

Oh is that all? [b]He chuckles[/b] We all can't go without some scars now, can we? [b]He charges at the General, and begins fighting him hand to hand[/b] [b]He punches the Dread in the gut, before being hit in the side of the arm, which he blocks He then flips and cuts the shoulder plate of it, and kicks him away The General swings wildly, but Phantom dodges and breaks one of his legs, then grabs hold of his arm and neck[/b] This'll hurt you more than it'll hurt me. [b]He looks to Ginger and nods[/b]

Ginger takes a deep breath, feeling almost like an eternity, before raising the weapon and taking aim. If the shit missed the General, it could do catastrophic damage to August... Not that he would miss, right? ... Right? The shot itself was silent and recoil-less, only detectable by the jerking motion of the General as his brain melted inside of his skull, and his ear drums turned to wax.

[b]The blast blew them apart, Phantom himself pushed backwards He managed to stabilize himself and looked at the General, then towards Ginger His helmet deconstructed[/b] Nice shot. Good thing too, wasn't sure if my Sound Cancelation Field would have stopped all the damage. [b]The World Eater began crashing down as Python beat it[/b] We need to go. Now. [b]His helmet reformed and he flipped off the creature, free falling towards the ground[/b]

The World Eater began to die, slowly as its head began to cave in. Blood was everywhere when you emerged, Python still punching the monster. Movement is heard behind you...

[b]He twisted around in his free fall, looking for any signs of a threat[/b]

Nothing but the General's body was there...

[b]He made an impact with the ground, creating a large crater and dust cloud as he does[/b] Well, atleast that done.

The General's body is gone when you look around again....are you sure he was dead? Your comms blare to life. "Phantom? You alright? Is the General dead?" Python is on the other end, gunshots coming through the mic as well.

I... think? I lost sight of his body during the fall. Which, you know, was a close one.

"Yeah....sorry about that." He chuckles a bit. "Hey, I'm catching a ride with Marie and Jack. I'll see on the Escapade."

The General is blown back again, a massive Gauss round impacting his chest as Ginger emerges from the Dread horde, gun blazing. A Behemoth attempts to get in his path, but its brain explodes after Ginger fires a sonic blast from his gauntlet, forcing the now empty skull to follow the rest of the body into oblivion. "Yeah... Well, get ready to... Die? I wasn't ready for this one."
