Assuming your using the quest sniper with skip rounds then your just unlucky, I've done that mid raid once

I would argue that this was actually lucky af. Got a good laugh out of it when it happened haha

I was doing golgoroth and doing the gaze, I fired a shot blindly at a pillar trying to empty my clip. Then I died. My raid group laughed at me.
