Car options you don't understand?

What are some car options you just don't get? I don't understand the appeal of sunroofs. If I want a roof open feel ill buy a convertible.

I have a 2015 Kia Optima and there is an option to have Eco mode on. It saves gas and all the stuff, but why is there an option to have it turned off? It makes no sense to not have it on
