So I'm one of those "been playing since beta, did all the stuff, been to the lighthouse, oryx, solo crota, vog at 29" people. And I have really enjoyed playing Destiny, a lot. In fact I've made tons of friends and met some great people because of this game. But it makes me really sad to think that Bungie would start selling boosting packs. First of all, that feels like a complete retracting of when it was said that real money would only ever be used for cosmetic items. And because I enjoy destiny as much as I do, I have put a lot of money into those items because I want to support the game's future. Second, it's taking away part of what made destiny fun. Sure, the grind is hard, but that's where making friends can happen. I realize that boosts would be a nice addition, but instead of paying for them, why not reward people with small boosts for joining a clan, or for running a strike/raid/pvp game with a full fireteam?
I hate to think where paying for boosting could take Destiny. And sure, you might say "this is just a boost for players, it doesn't affect gameplay," but that's simply not true. Plus, if you start down this path with boosts now, where will it end up in 3 years? 8 years? Will you be able to just 'buy' a gjallarhorn year 8? Or the way you're setting it up a "LUCKY CHEST" that drops an up-to-date exotic for only $10.99. I think this is a terrible direction for Destiny to go, and it makes me sad that something I am very passionate and enjoy do this.
I know one person's feedback isn't going to change it, but I just wanted to say it somewhere.

My question is: what is the subclass boost? You mean the exotic class items with the exp boost that was in TTK collectors edition? You can blitzkrieg your way to lv 25 in a day. Telemetries are useless and a dime a dozen. So you're paying $30 for a fraction of the collectors edition crap? Stay classy bungie. You're officially worse than EA.
