Why haven't you beaten oryx challenge mode yet?

I'm on the verge of quitting the game I just don't understand how a group of developers think it's a good idea to make challenge mode based on a mechanic that they knew was glitchy I've spent 7 hours in the past 2 nights doing it. When ogres aren't teleporting or becoming immune we have managed to detonate all 16 blights 6 times. Each time 2 people dps oryx whilst 4 of us count down and detonate orbs at the same time Not once has oryx lost all his health. He is left with anything from 10%-90% To blow off steam we go in crucible and it's red bars amuck in there too :(

6 RepliesWork 7×10's have a child, dog, girlfriend, cook dinner... uhhh meeting today an hour after work and it's for 2 hours...so my excuse is... I have a hell of a life the will allow me to retire at 60 getting about 6k a month after tax from my pension. Then I'll beat oryx challenge. ;)

Well I've beaten it but I haven't been able to do it on my other characters because of finals!

Ogres teleport into the team causing an orb to detonate and the challenge to be failed. Happened 6 times in a row. No gear is worth the frustration that is this shit. It'll all be worthless next year when the next expansion of destiny 2 is released anyways.
