Didn't read but snipers don't take skill and they're easy to use in this game. Average player just pre aims doorways and lanes and acts like this is "skill" which isn't the case. Snipers made the overall pvp experience campy and less entertaining, bungie nerfs and doesn't do anything to help all secondaries leaving snipers to be the best.
