Lakir walked up to the bars. He placed his four hands on the bars, two on one bar. His bottom arms were mechanical. Using his strength, he pushed the bars apart enough for someone to walk through. He stepped over into the other side of the room, and aimed his hand cannon at the shackles. He shot four times, each one expertly landed and pretty soon, Aliksis was free.

She fell on her knees next to Lakun'ai. She looked up at Lakir and stayed silent, but had the look of fear and gratitude for being saved. "Thank you..."
-
" We're not out of it yet." He pointed to Lakun'ai. " His legs are broken. I need you to hold him up while I shoot the shackles. Then we'll carry him to one of the hangars, where there should be a ship waiting. But in case things go wrong..... Do you know how to handle a gun?" He pulled out a spare hand cannon from one of his holsters and offered it to her.
-
She was familiar with shock pistols but the hand cannon being offered to her was strange and...different. But she grabbed it regardless and began helping him grab Lakun'ai.
-
Within a few seconds, Lakun'ai was also free. They started dragging him out of the room, and were met by a Guardian. A Warlock. James. J," C'mon! The hangar isn't too far away."
-
Aliksis hurried while she helped hold Lakun'ai. She stared into his eyes and then his legs. She felt sorrow and thought about how they could get him replacements. There's no way he'll go through with it...

Edited by IXMMISmokey: 12/20/2015 1:30:20 PMIt seems that things would not go as smoothly as they hoped, a Wolf patrol was coming their way. One captain, two vandals, and four dregs. Lakir," We should get moving right now."
-
Aliksis struggled to speak. "Where is your ship you came in?"
-
James," In the hangar down the hall..... Shit, they'll catch up to us at this rate. I got him." James aimed his Vex palm at Lakun'ai. Within a few seconds, he started floating effortlessly. James," Lakir, take care of them. You..." He looked at Aliksis. James," Are gonna help me. I have to focus on him, so you'll make sure we don't run into any Wolves."
-
"What should I do?"
-
James," Just keep that gun handy." Meanwhile, Lakir moved behind them towards the Wolves, and fighting started.
-
She raised the hand cannon and stared at it with curiosity. Even though it meant danger to their life, she was secretly hoping for a chance to use the hand cannon.
-
They reached the hangar after a short five minute walk with no problem. Once inside, it was a different situation. There was a transport ship guarded by three Guardians. They were getting shot at by twenty or so Wolves, each one dug in behind cover. It was a massive firefight.
-
"Friends of yours?"
-
James," Don't know them personally but yes."
-
"Then shouldn't you help them?"
-
James," Unless you want him to wake up with a headache from being dropped, I think you'll have to help them." He gestured toward the floating Lakun'ai, and how he couldn't focus on fighting the Wolves and keeping Lakun'ai in the air. "... Plus that is our ride out of here."
-
Aliksis held up the hand cannon and aimed it. She aimed at the head of a dreg and kept her aim steady. Seconds later she pulled the trigger. The bullet flew through the ship and shot the dreg's head off into oblivion. Ether flew out of its body as it fell to the ground.
-
Some Wolves noticed this and returned fire. James got Lakun'ai behind cover, and gently put him on the floor. Then he grabbed for his own hand cannon, Pheonix, which glowed warmly, and shot three consecutive shots into the Wolves' ranks.
-
Aliksis shoots another dreg and attempts to reload the hand cannon. The reload mechanism was strange to her.
-
On the far side of the hangar, the doors burst open as a Vandal is thrown through them. Emerging from the door, was Lakir, with two hand cannons loaded and firing behind him. He turned around and killed most of the Wolves hat were now in a bad position.
