I can't believe how bad the SRL really is. I've never been so frustrated in Destiny EVER! And I've been here since the Beta... I don't understand why I finish in last place IN EVERY RACE! Is it because of the blasted gates? If you miss one they SUCK AWAY YOUR SPEED for no apparent reason. It doesn't make any freaking sense! And if you even graze a rock on the ground your sparrow goes flying off the track. And it's even worse when you are trading paint with other sparrows. I can't run into or be ran into by another sparrow without them sending me flying off the track! It doesn't make sense! I don't understand the logic or even the game physics of why these things happen all the time. Oh and why is it we have only 2 tracks? And they aren't even really race tracks... they are more like obstacle courses. They are freaking terrible. Why can't we have some REAL race tracks located in the protected environment of the Last City? Where there can actually be fans in the stands along the side and no obstacles to worry about? Bungie have you even ever watched a Formula One, Indy Car, or even a NASCAR race? And change the way the freaking gates work. So people that freaking get unlucky still have a shot of catching up. That would make WAY more sense. If you really want this SRL thing to be a big deal that's what should happen. As of right now it doesn't look like I'll be getting one of those new sparrows like I hoped I would. Didn't know that sparrow racing would be so ridiculously hard. The only reason I'm doing it at all at this point is because I want the armor shaders. Already have the class items and helmets. But a new racing sparrow looks impossible. Maybe if the quests steps didn't involve winning/finishing in the top 3 I could do it. But as of right now SRL is just too hard. :(
