The part where you said "the disconnect between what should happen to what is happening" really makes me feel what you have been experiencing is one in the same.
I've never had any problems adjusting and adapting to any of the updates, but this most recent one, I've had so many WTF, Bullshit, How can that be -moments in all the time that I've played the crucible in destiny.
The most frustrating thing is, its not about the nerfs or buffs to weapons/class that is off. The game just feels outright "off" in the crucible now and it is not fun.

It's very hard to put those experiences into words, as they really are something to... Well, experience. If you've played a lot of the PvP, you will have a feeling (and maybe even some video clips) of what should happen. You faced the same situation literally a 1000 times, and suddenly, at the 1001st time something completely different happens, yet the patch notes didn't mention any changes. (like Melee damage now being considered RNG) I probably said that before, but it's reassuring that I am not the only one who has those issues, and if they are so similar, the root cause should be easier to find.
