I haven't played Destiny in about 2 months, aside from one Nightfall a friend and I ran just for nostalgic purposes.Thus, I voted no. My main reason is that Destiny as a whole feels like less of a game than it did near the end of Year 1. I felt like the game was at its best after HoW, mostly PvE. PvP was a mess at that time, I realize that. But there is just so little to do right now, it all got so old and stale so quickly. The way loot and weapon/armor progression worked after HoW was outstanding. I loved Etheric Light, and being able to bump anything and everything up was great. It gave options. I dislike the infusion system now after liking it at first. I hate the double RNG of King's Fall rewards, and the Nightfall has become a big ol' joke since nerfing the difficulty as well as the rewards. SRL sounded cool at first, and I was sure I was going to try it. After watching a few races, I was already bored with it though and never did. The fact that they are selling this book is ridiculous to me. Stat-keeping is something that nearly every game I have ever played does automatically. Paying $10, half the price of two expansions from Year 1, for a couple of cosmetic items and for the game to keep your stats throughout a limited 3 week event... I'm sorry, but that is just pathetic. Add on top of that the fact that it is looking like we won't be getting any true expansion in Year 2, just these little events, and it doesn't look like I will be playing any Destiny at all until the sequel. I'm just bored of it. Now I have been at this point before, things in Destiny getting stale... But normally about now, the buzz from incoming DLC would be enough to get me back into it, and the cycle would start again. But these events, Festival of the Lost, "challenge mode", and Sparrow Racing... None of this is anywhere close to enough to pull me away from these other great games I have moved on to. As much as I hate to admit it being a Beta and Day 1 player, the Destiny phase is looking officially over for me. I miss it terribly, but it just isn't the game I and my friends used to enjoy anymore...
