It's okay, could be better. I mean, as far as things are going, it's pretty good. Bungie just needs some solid weapon balancing and that will solve the PVP side of things (for the most part).
As far as content goes, there isn't a DLC until the next game release for destiny. However according to bungie and some confirmed news, there is going to be small content releases that are dropping in 2016, even early 2016 there is going to be some big content drops (probably not DLC sized) but events and maybe even new missions and quests and things of that sort.
As far as PVP goes, everything in my opinion is on track. Weapon balancing is a given, but outside of that I think the PVP is great.
Story wise, I'm glad bungie finally came to a break through and can produce some actual characters (what the original destiny story was majorly lacking) and made the story interesting. I'm hoping with the future releases things if these sorts will be better. As far as it is going now, it's on the right path.
Loot drop, I believe that loot drop needs changing. Especially for hard raids. Like I have said before, with the raid drops, it's like going to work on me day and your boss telling you "hey, you have a 50/50 chance of me giving you your paycheck at the end of this week. Are you still willing to work?". It might buy some people now but in the long run this cheap gambling tactic isn't going to last. I believe the HoW leveling system was superior because you're guaranteed to level up your character after doing whatever it was you're doing. Bungie needs to bring back this guaranteed leveling system back.
More about loot drops, I believe loot drops for nightfalls in general should have a change. I mean really, I've gotten SINGLE motes of light from nightfalls before. That shouldn't happen. Ever.
Gun mechanics are on point. There's nothing about it that needs changing. Gameplay is beautiful. I would even consider saying it is the best FPS gameplay I've played.

Gunplay is there, story needs to be there. Its too small of dosage per dlc to justify it. Now my biggest problem with this is its rpg elements. Its simply not in depth enough, it is too light(casual) for its 10 yr plan. Im basically hoping for the best and prepared for the worst.

I agree with your point on the gunplay. If have yet to play something that feels this good. However, I feel that the game has no other redeeming qualities. Lack of content, lack of in-game story, and every expansion taking place mostly in vanilla areas make this game a failure for me. I did play a lot, but only because it was the only game many friends also had. Now maybe 2 people on my friends list play. Beat everything vanilla Destiny had to offer within weeks. Been playing Fallout 4 since launch, and no where near done everything. Destiny may have bigger maps, but it is just empty wasted space. I wish Destiny had as much to do as Fallout 4 or ESO. Destiny has the potential to be the greatest game ever, but falls flat due to greed.
