I apologize for how rude my post was, but as i said, all my own issues with this and many other games have been on [i]my own[/i] side of things.
Destiny's been better to me connection-wise than many other games.
I mean to assist, not to talk down.

np. didnt mean to be hostile..trying to communicate that i had virtually no prob up to delivery of new patch. now its godawful. also extends to pve, specifically hm oryx challenge...forums are full of issues from people who had none prior to patch....something definitely got broken.

I want to encourage others to make sure their connection really is as good as they think it is. I had troubles on other games until I moved, and the next Technician told me "everyone uses Channel X" for their wireless. I cant remember what it was, the exact number, but he changed me to a different one. And suddenly i was barely ever yellow-barring. That and other changes to my side of the equation have really really helped me.

Like others are saying, my connection was perfectly fine before patch (I upgraded my internet to ensure I didn't lag) yet now the lag in games is very common, been shot through walls when people are green bar doesn't even surprise me anymore it happens nearly every game. I've been thrown into Japanese servers when I'm from Europe and most of my games now I'm matched against players from the US. If that doesn't tell you something is up then I don't know what will.
