"You must be connected to Xbox Live to play Destiny"

Wouldn't normally be a problem except I AM connected to Xbox Live! I was just about to finish a race (in 1st I might add) when I got weasel and disconnected, then viper when I tried to reconnect. Now I keep getting the above error message every time I try to get past the title screen!

  • I get constant disconnections from Xbox Live too, usually followed after a Caterpillar error. Tried every troubleshooting imaginable (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/176740047) but nothing seems to work. It's so bad that the game is becoming unplayable.
