If you'll notice from our posts and other comments, we don't identify as a "feminist" clan. Some members call themselves feminists, some don't, so maybe read more carefully before commenting on a quality we don't claim?
Speaking only for myself, I don't know about your particular brand of feminism, but mine not only advocates for equality for all genders, but also recognizes a few more realities: we don't currently live in a culture where equality exists so there is still much more work to be done, being pro-woman and creating a safe space for women to gather is not the same thing as being anti-male (very few things in life are either/or and being anti-male, in my opinion, would be counterproductive); and it's not my place to judge other women's choices. Part of feminism for me is recognizing that each woman gets to make her own fully informed choices. If it's not the choice I would make, so what? I think about something Amy Poehler said in her recent book: "Great for her, not for me." And then she moves on...
