Who did "Shindig in the Crucible" Legit?
So I wan't to know who completed this part of the quest only going through full games w/ the Last Word equipped from [u]start to finish[/u]. I had lots of fun doing this also SRL is cheating in my opinion.

Edit: I had done it legit and it is difficult but very fun and challenging.

I can't use the last word for the life of me. I tried. I tried a lot. I could not get any progress on the quest and had to cheat my way through using SRL. I had no choice I tell you!

With so many complains SRL was a good solution for the quest, and that way bungie kept players racing ;);).. I did it before SRL came out but haven't used it yet tho.. i did do the quest on my other character while racing. Might just as wel equip while ur racing anyway, that way i'm completing more then just bounties and that damn book.

I tried legitimately but just couldn't do it, went the equip when super is charged method

Just did it in two games yesterday.

I did. I went into skirmish and destroyed with TLW. 10 streaks, 15, etc. Finished in 3 games.

I finished it the week before SRL and the patch released, because I didn't want to get the shotgun kills after the coming nerf so I hopped into mayhem rumble and got two phantoms in one life and two five and a 15 kill streak and completed it

8 RepliesI cheated in SRL because I couldn't be bothered. I've still yet to complete the shotgun kills portion. I just don't like shotguns enough to put effort in to this quest.

I would have done it legit, but I had to stop before I threw my controller into a wall. I went from 15% to 1% in one game with a 1.0 kd in that game. Now I'm just doing it in srl

I got my Chaperone having never fired a shot in the crucible. -blam!- pvp.

Since all you have to do is have it equipped, I'm pretty sure anyway you get it done is "legit" Also, who cares?

I just equipped it when I picked up heavy and before wins. Had a 10 kill streak one game and it jumped up 30 percent

I just used my shotgun, as it still counted for the bounty. All you needed to just equip it, not use it.

I kinda did it by accident. The last word was the last exotic hand cannon I got in year one, never used it much because I always preferred hawk moon. Finally decided to give last word an honest try at learning it. Put it on my warlock and made myself use it when ever I was on my warlock in pvp. Not even thinking about the quest at all. One day it popped up that the quest step was completed. I honestly have no idea how many matches it took. I never paid attention to my progress.
