She speaks, slowly, as if she was trying to swing her.
"Faythe....a great fighter. Easily one of the best on this...team."
She floats from the air and down to the floor, she holds up a hand and a bubble of a shield surrounds the two.
"You could join me....we could take the galaxy from these scum and run it how it should've been in the first place...you'd replace that....barbaric maniac, the General and become my second in command...what do you say?"
She grinned, thinking she had won Faythe over.

[b]She glares at her, seeming in thought And then, she slugged Nova, her fist coated in fire[/b] [i]"If you hate him so much, why keep him around?"[/i]

The punch missed, Nova had teleported behind her. She smiled yet again. "He....simply a placeholder for someone more....worthy, like you. Join me. It is your destiny, Faythe. We could rule the galaxy." [spoiler]Nova = Vader Confirmed[/spoiler]

[b]She swung behind herself[/b] [i]"And end up your bitch? No, I'd rather stay myself"[/i]

Nova stopped the fist with her mind, her whole body turning red. "Your funeral..." The bubble disappears as does Nova. A squad of Broodmothers move in, brandishing their swords.

[b]She growls, dashing between two of them as she takes off running[/b]

She is tripped by something. It's not a human foot, but it was definitely a foot. When she looked, nothing was there. Snickering and a hardlight blade charging up was heard.

[i]"Dammit Nova!"[/i] [b]She rolls quickly, jumping back up and running [/b] [spoiler]Perfect time for me to introduce Anansi, lol[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Dew eet![/spoiler] A massive figure blocked your path, one of the Broodmothers. She kicked you back down and lifted her sword up to bury it in you.

[b]Reacting quickly, she spinned, causing a fire storm to erupt as she stands and dashes to the side[/b]

The sword hits the ground, she slides it into you, causing you to faceplant. It hurt, probably a broken nose. The firestorm killed her, but her nose was definitely broken.

[b]She lets out a muffled scream, covering her nose for a bit as she makes her way to a friendly [/b]

Python was there, smashing troop after troop. He fired behind her at the Broodmothers. "Get over here!" The Broodmother goes down as he beckons her to come to him. He had just taken cover to reload.

[b]She rushes over, taking cover next to him[/b] [i]?"This is one big hell hole, were never going to get to Nova!"[/i]

He peeks around the cover coming back after a few shots. "Phantom is already there. Shit..." Python puts his hand above you, lightly pushing you down and taking a few shots over your back. You hear a large howl of pain and a body hit the floor. He retracts his hand and reloads the heavy shotgun.

[b]She growls [/b] [i]"Great, Phantom is done for then"[/i]

"Have some faith. Pun intended." He chuckles hollowly for a moment then throws a grenade over the cover, waiting for the explosion. Why was he joking? This was fight time...

[b]She looked at him with a confused look, but passes it off, as she reaches over and begins to launch fireballs at the Dread army[/b]

She saw the troops beginning to thin. We're they going to win? Her fireball took down a Berserker.

[b]She doesn't get her hopes up, knowing something else was coming[/b]

Edited by Python824: 12/24/2015 4:41:54 AMWas it? It seemed like the forces were actually failing, slowly losing ground and morale....well, some were actually using this as more rage towards the fight, but most were saddened by this, just giving up mid-fight and waiting to die.

Python was gone when she looked back, he had started climbing the World Eater with Vaax, one of the few remaining enemies.
