Bungie, I have an idea for an exotic quest-line for you. It involves both PvE/PvP gameplay, dancing, and the tower juke box. If interested, read on. 1. drop a hint in the weekly update about an upcoming exotic item for the game as part of the live team's work. This would be the first time announcing something upcoming from the live team, instead of surprising the player base, so it would be tricky to pull off without setting it up some…I'm sure you can be creative about it enough to generate some interest and get the flames fanned. 2. some time later, drop a random patrol quest, like the ???? ones that are out there now, but instead of just being a patrol mission, have it show up as a quest line upon completion of one of the ???? missions. you can even make it so it only shows up for ppl that have completed 20 or whatever number of those type of missions…add to the mystery a little. the community would need to figure out what the character needs to accomplish to complete the quest though. it would be a multi-stage quest, just like the rest of the exotics, and maybe colored differently to make sure it is received as such. 3. the quest line can make players perform all of the same actions required of the ???? patrol missions, but for PvE strike and raid bosses instead. like dancing for 30 secs during a boss battle, pointing/random emote, collecting ammo, critical shots/kills, grenade kills, super kills, and such. The quest steps would evolve from Patrol missions, to Vanguard Strike playlist bosses (5 different required), to Heroic Strike playlist bosses (5 different required), to Nightfall bosses (3 required, so it can be done in 1 reset) 4. the quest can then shift to PvP with the same type requirements on different play lists…rumble, clash, salvage, mayhem, rift, etc. 5. the quest can then shift back to PvE, but for all of the Raid bosses (VoG Templar, Gatekeeper, and Atheon, CE Ir Yut and Crota, and KF Warpriest, Golgoroth, Daughters and Oryx). 6. last step is to go to the tower juke box and play a song. what song you ask…well Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up". 7.
