Glad someone else mentions this one, it's certainly the rarest one I have. I really wish I hadn't changed my account on the old site ages ago or I'd have had a couple of shields too. I could search through some boxes I have stored away in the attic and send a pic of my Marathon, Myth and Oni boxes/games if they'd come out with a special "Fossil" emblem. 😄

Not a bad idea, a fossil emblem. I'm pissed that even though I had a BungieVision.net profile, I wasn't active on the forums, so no shield for me 8(

The shield emblems are certainly rare. Respect to guardians with it. Inner Chamber still very rare. I'm the only one on my friends list with it.

Do you have to get a code or something to do it? I've definitely played 4 previous games and have had my account for awhile. Or do the emblems show up automatically?

If you think you should have it but haven't received it, check out the emblem kiosk and see if it is available to you. If it is not, sadly you missed the boat somehow. Halo 4 did not count towards the 4 game requirement due to the fact that is was made by 343.
