[b]The noise seems to almost surround them. Closing in on many sides. However, it's loud and obnoxious, not like the monsters light and slithering like footsteps.[/b]

[b]No matter what, the sound grows steadily closer. It sounds like marching.[/b]

[b]He continues, now running faster than a cheetah on crack [/b]

[b]The noise erupts into a large volume wall of noise. It's sounds like the feet of men running all around them.[/b]

[b]He continues sprinting, as fast as he can to escape the noises[/b]

[b]He crashes into something. It's a man. It's a man in armor. It's a soldier. His eyes seems cold and blank. But something tells you that this person isn't hostile.[/b]

[b]He gets up, and continues running with Anumi[/b]

[b]The man only stands and watches. But as he runs he crashes into another one. It's identical. No difference. It simply stares.[/b]

[b]Now knowing to watch out for them, he continues running, swerving past any that come into his path[/b]

[b]They keep appearing. No matter where he goes one lands directly in front of him. One of them eventually reached out in a stopping motion. A voice booms throughout the whole forest as if the group talks in unison.[/b] [i][u]"The girl is ours. Return her."[/u][/i]

[b]A few of them have surrounded him. They seem calm and quiet.[/b] [i][u]"Do not meddle in our folly."[/u][/i] [b]They extend arms in unison, seemingly expectant.[/b]

[b]Suddenly a horrifying screech echoes throughout the forest from behind them.[/b] [i]"SHE'S GONE!"[/i] [b]The group of men look in the direction and few slowly walk towards the direction of the scream. The one left standing seems more commanding and furious now.[/b] [i][u]"Hurry, the monster returns..."[/u][/i] [b]Suddenly the sound of fighting breaks out behind them. It sounds like a war zone. Terrible noises, far from human, blast and cause animals to scatter away.[/b]

[b]The figure keeps pace but it doesn't seem to be running. They approach the end of the forest, were more of the strange men stand around watching the depths of the woods. The screaming grows chaotic... And closer. The men hold out their hands once more.[/b] [i][u]"Return the girl. She will be safe."[/u][/i]

"Mate, fūck off" [b]he says, opening a dimensional portal to a light purple place, devoid of anything but colour, and jumping in with Anumi, closing the portal shortly after[/b]

[b]The figures look at each other in thought. They grow restless and move away from the forest. Something crashes through it, it's eyes pale and its face twisted.[/b] [i]"Caldon! Fūcking give her back."[/i] [i][u]"We don't have her... And if we did we wouldn't give her to you..."[/u][/i] [b]The men vanish into thin air, leaving the creature alone. It frowns.[/b] [i]"Well... I still have her mind..."[/i]

[b]Strangely enough, it doesn't taste like blood. It's warm and has the same consistency, but it's almost... Sweet.[/b]

[b]It doesn't seem to be human blood. Anumi is much more than what's on the surface. But it seems to be just important... She has certainly lost a lot of it.[/b]
