A Skiff was hovering at the cliff where Aries' death occurred. It was a strange color, green and black, with bright green flame on the sides. Several Taken Vandals dropped out of it, and a few Captains arrived via a Taken portal. Then, Erik himself followed. He barked a few orders in Elinski and walked to the edge of the cliff. The scarab on his left arm squirmed and made a series of noises ((think of a Predator's noise)).
"He's here somewhere. I know it. Be patient."
It quieted down and Erik dropped to the ground below. The changed Fallen followed swiftly. He finally came across Aries' body. He knelt down and pried his chest plate open, and searched inside Aries' torso. He grunted and held his hand over his chest. Slowly, a small tendril of Darkness made its way out of Aries and into Erik's hand. After a few moments, a ball of pure Darkness, Aries core Darkness, in fact, was in his hand. It was solid, yet it flowed like a liquid, smaller tendrils of it floating gracefully around Erik's arm, twining around his body. He shuddered as it stopped at the scarab and quickly entered it. Erik laughed quietly as the power flowed through the giant insect attached to him, acting as a place to store the Darkness.
Acting as a conduit.
"Switch was right, you know. All endings are beginnings."
Again, the scarab make a small noise.
"And this is mine."

A skiff was hovering over a cliff, the occupants smoking a spliff...
-
"What's this now?" Skavak quietly said to himself. He watched everything through the scope of his sniper. He had been following the strange skiff to find out what it was up to, and his curiosity paid off.
-
He got up and stared directly at Skavak.
-
Skavak aimed at his head, in case he did anything sudden. "Steady... Steady..." He said to himself.
-
He just crossed his arms.
-
"Well this is awkward... Eh, screw it." He took a shot at Erik's leg.
-
He raised it and it missed.
-
"Dang it." He aimed and fired again.
-
Again, he dodged it.
-
"What the-?! Hacks, man!" He fired three more shots.
-
He just disappeared.
-
Out of anger, Skavak threw the sniper as far as he could.
-
It stopped in midair.

-
Erik appeared, holding the sniper. "A bit hard to kill a Taken, eh?"
-
"Harder than it should be. Can I have my gun so I can shoot you now?"
-
"Sure. You can try." He tossed it to him.
-
Skavak caught it and aimed directly at his torso, then fired.
-
It hit him directly.
-
"Hah! Got ya!"
-
He staggered back, holding his chest. "You shot me..."
-
"Yeah I did! How's it feel, tough guy?"
-
"I don't know, you tell me." Erik drew his Last Word and fired the entire magazine into his chest.
-
Skavak fell to the ground. "How is that possible...?"
-
"Remember? Taken. That ring a bell?"
