"Damnit!" Sawyer puts Embers forehead to his, and stares into his eyes. "I will scour every -blam!-ing cubic centimeter of the universe to find who did this to you. I promise."

[b]His eyes are full of tears, and he says...[/b] "Why? I'm nearly gone..." [b]He collapses to the ground, breathing heavily, he grunts and yells[/b] "GAH!" [b]Hea battling the thing inside.[/b]

"Ember, you're going to Nate. He'll make you better."

"He can do [i]anything[/i]."

"Get him in here then before it.." [b]He staggers, and his finger tips grow into long claws as his teeth begin to grow sharp, he growls, and slashed his claws at Sawyer, but they stop an inch away from his face. Ember collapses again and he hugs himself, rocking back and forth.[/b]

Nate runs him, puts his on anistetics and cuts him open, injecting a numbing venom into Ember's body.

[b]The claws and fangs retract, and he begins shaking uncontrollably.[/b]

"You feel better?" Sawyer nervously utters

"N-no. My head still throbs despite the anesthetics."

"Well, it's better than you literally becoming a monster."

"So, what's up with Luna? Haven't seen her in a while."
