There's no reference to the earth being green.

Edited by Puckish_Rogue125: 12/29/2015 6:25:06 PMNo but all the beasts, birds and man we're given the green plants for food. Not that it matters in the end because fairytales have different meanings to everyone :)

No they were not.

Here are a couple other translations which I Google for you because I don't know what your preferred version is: and to all the animals on the earth and to every bird of the air and to everything that moves on the ground—to everything in which there is the breath of life—I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so. There ya go :)

You're reading the wrong bible.
-
Well I literally quoted you three separate ones so my only conclusions are you're trolling but poorly because you should at least know what you're talking about a little bit, or your just an idiot.

God dangit now you made me get get out the bible..so this particular passage is genesis 1:30 of the King James translation of the Holy Bible. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. Please learn religion before throwing it at people. Mmmkay?

I am glad you are at least trying to learn from the good book but I'm afraid you are misinterpreting the text.

False, if we take it literally it literally says that, if we take it figuratively it figuratively says that, in every translation I might add....it's also not a good book. It's a very poor read. Unless you interpret what that says to mean something different but then wouldn't it mean the book is a farce? (Which it is in my opinion.)
