Just watched the original star wars trilogy
And they were pretty bad. I sorta only enjoyed episode 5.
List of things I disliked
-The emperors bad makeup
-boring dialogue
-0 emotion from the cast
-ewoks,I really hated ewoks
-shit lightsaber duels
-storm trooper incompetence
-the lack of danger from the empire
-bad green screen
-jaba
-obi wans death
Things I enjoyed
- leia
-yoda
-the final battle between Luke and Anakin
-sky city
-Luke's training from yoda and obi wan.

Good job, you disliked special effects that were over 30 years old. They were pretty amazing at the time.

The one thing that really bothers me about the OG movies is that scene when stormtroopers were taken out by -blam!-ing rocks...

Like an old video game, they don't exactly hold up very well with age. That said, I do think they are good movies. Personally, I don't enjoy them all that much.

Well that's like your opinion man. I think most people who watch the original trilogy now don't get it. It's not about the special effects or the lightsaber combat. It's a story about many things but most importantly it's about a boy and his father. I love watching the original trilogy, hell I actually have a 720p grey market variant that cut out all the stuff Lucas put in. It's so good to see the movies in their original cinematic form.
