I have one huge problem with this and it's pretty glaring. The Nine are described exclusively as 'rulers of the jovian systems' implying that it's just the 9 of them that rule over the gas giants in our solar system (i.e. the jovian planets). It's far more likely that each of the 9 rules a moon around one of these planets.
