I'm not so sure about this. though yes it has good points why would they be helping us after we slaughtered them? Why do they need us for something and surely if they were just the ahamkara that we could kill fairly easily than why would the awoken be so afraid of them. She had enough power to tear apart a fleet with a single blow then what's a couple space dragons to her? Though I'm now curious if the ahamkara themselves may be connected to the nine as pets of some sort or maybe they could be their physical manifestation.

That's the thing with the theory they technically are not helping us because they want to, they are getting ride of there "garbage" or unwanted items to collect the strange coins. They could also have a greater plan, I am just curious what Osiris is actually doing now, IK he meet the nine on Europa but is he working for them or what, I assume we will get some more info down the line, really curious to see where the "story" and lore goes. Theories will always just be theories though in till we get more info or fact to prove one way or another. It is really cool to see all the awesome theories everyone comes up with.

There is no real saying how they got them, the Ahamkars can control people,, it is possible the items are not used by them but were gathered by old/ slayed guardians or maybe that is what Osiris or the Jovians are off doing, collecting the items for the ahamkaras to sell to the gaurdians through Xur. Just like you Theory this one cleary hs its own holes, such as why and how to the Ahamkara's have these gun's. also Ahamkara's are believed to be extinct however I i recall there is a card that goes into stating how they are known to defy death and/or made the tower/guardians believe they were extinct so they could escape.
