Oh lord, not again. I got halfway into the first paragraph and already know that as good as your idea may sound to you, I'd guarantee that none of it is true. Remember the Sleeper Simulant? People were pulling every mythology, obscure reference, maybe-kinda-doesn't-really-fit but I'll run with it theory, character dialogue, already existing guns, flavor text on gear, "hints" in weekly updates, making a language out of the damn red boxes and dots on the map even.... aaaaaaand none of it had anything to do with getting the gun. Run patrol, get a Warsat, done. No Norse mythology, no tin foil hat, no decoding messages.

Agreed, Bungie has shot themselves in the foot just a wee bit by showing us that nothing in Destiny is too difficult to work out because every single aspect of this game was built with casuals in mind. Maybe they'll do something like this in the future but if we can't/don't expect abstract/hella interesting ideas then a lot of us won't preorder.

By no means do I expect this to be right. It's good but let's be honest I don't see it happening unless it never does and we get something similar to the book of sorrows again. It makes sense but I don't really see it getting put into the game but it might get put into the cards which would be cool..
