Let's talk about failed nova bombs! What has been your worst moment using a nova bomb?

4 months ago. Killed myself after trying to throw a Nova Bomb at a random player in Mayhem.

Ugh this Tuesday we were playing iron banner and all 6 of them were on the outside heavy on black shield I forgot I had lance on and not shatter. Long story short I could've gotten a reaper but instead I'm pretty sure it grazed of them and soared away. The other team instantly panicked and separated. They all just waved to me :( I think they felt bad for me so they didn't even kill me with their newly gotten heavy. They just waved and let me go *sigh*

2 RepliesYou know where point B is on Shores of Time? So I threw my Nova In that direction from point C and ran to try and cap B. When I got there, using blink for quick speed, my Nova came down right on top of me and also detonated the hazard box which ultimately finished me off. Then a some Titan stood over my body and did the slow clap emote.

About to drop my Nova bomb on Zone B where everyone of the other team was, when suddenly a titan uses his FoH and kills everyone. Smh haha

When you could get a Slayer but bomb the little corner that sticks out on Zone C on Rustlands. :(

Had the ability to take out 4 guys by the heavy on pantheon. I jump up diagonally to the left out of instinct cause dudes are firing at me and I drift behind a wall (stupid vex architects!) and WAAAASTE IT!!! (I hate that map)

2 RepliesIn trials of Osiris I nova bombed a (pre nerf) sunbreaker, but I kindve missed cuz I didn't expect him to come around the corner flying in the air already, so I did my best to maneuver the bomb closer to where he was (I was firing at the ground he was above to try and kill him from blast radius) and when the bomb hit the ground I saw the damage numbers from my nova bomb...I did 196....196! He then chucked a hammer at me and regained his health before I could turn around and finish him. -_-

Played most of the matches as Stormcaller and decided to switch back to void walker for some fun. On Vertigo heard the other team capturing B as my super came up. Crouch walked to just below them and I was like, yes they are all up there and don't know I'm here, I'm so gonna fry the whole team. Popped my storm trance and immediately shot a nova bomb into the wall right in front of me, nearly killing myself and alerting everyone that I was right there.

Pantheon y1 trials, 1 vs 3 the zone is where b for control is and im at that little bridge for the waterfall i see all three of them i try to nova and bam hit the bridge and killed myself

You know those moments where you do it midair and since it causes you to continue flying while casting so you go careening into a wall and kill yourself with the explosion? Yeah, every day of my life.

I went to kill 2 people (in rumble) and some guy nova bombed me at the same time I nova bombed another who was in nova bomb about to kill someone.

My worst: I threw a nova bomb at a group of four people, thinking I was on Vortex. Little did I know I had Lance on.

4 RepliesHave they been nerfed. I've saw more missed Nova bombs recently than at any other point that I've been playing. Always used it year 1, found its inconsistencies make it pointless to waste/use.

ToO on the Drifter... Score was 4-4 i was the only one with my super.. I put on lance because the enemy team always rushes to the middle of the room next to the heavy box.. So all 3 of them are there i use my super and well.. It goes through to the other side of the map (through the hallway) and we lost ;_;

I jump and trigger my novabomb just to fly into a poll! Everytime!

There were like 5 of them on one point and I drifted too far and hit the door way. I did the sorrow emote as they mowed me down.

8 RepliesIt's why Tlaloc was made for voidwalkers because our super is the worst. Golden Gun with combustion is much more effective.
