What If Defenders Could Fire From Inside Their Bubbles?
We've always had to exit the safety of our bubbles to shoot our enemies, or wait for them to try to kill us from inside. But what if we didn't have to, how would that affect the game?
Edit: Suggestions say that there should be an Exotic armor/weapon that has this ability exclusively. Nice.
Also considerable: Switch that with being unseen from outside the bubble. It'd be harder to kill the Defender if you try to rush them.

But then it would be so hard to shut down if you could shoot out Like the single sided mirror idea meaning you can't run in as easily

1 ReplyWell I think they nerfed this, I might be wrong but, weapons of light and any sniper could one shot anybody. they might have reduced the damge weapons of light puts on now that might of been the nerf.

It would be needed to the ground. Warlocks and hunters would go apeshit. The only way I could see it not being OP is to have massive damage reduction like 75% less damage while shooting through the bubble.

4 RepliesAnother thing that ceases to amaze me is the fact the once you put up a bubble they start coming to you like flies on a sh*t all you have to do is have a shotty or make them think you don't have one then switch it out just play mind games man like when a stormcaller comes in your bubble throw a surpressor gernade, jump out and its a free kill

the name is defender, i take that as defend your bubble. i think if you go outside of it you should have some sort of advantage like invis. or fast gernade/ mele charge

Have it set up to where there is a ability perk in its perk tree in the same line as weapons of light and the other bubble buffs so people can't run weapons or blessings in order to shoot outside

I would like to see an exotic that makes the bubble opaque, allowing only the user to see out of it, but no one to see into it. I think allowing a defender to shoot out of the bubble would be too strong.

1 ReplyWeapons of light would have to be nerfed. Being able to sit on your bubble perfectly safe and killing everyone with 1 sniper body shot would be broken.

1 ReplyThis was probably the original set up but after play testing it they realized how OP it would have been. If the bubble was mobile or could be shot through by it's user, I would go on murder sprees like no other
