What If Defenders Could Fire From Inside Their Bubbles?
We've always had to exit the safety of our bubbles to shoot our enemies, or wait for them to try to kill us from inside. But what if we didn't have to, how would that affect the game?
Edit: Suggestions say that there should be an Exotic armor/weapon that has this ability exclusively. Nice.
Also considerable: Switch that with being unseen from outside the bubble. It'd be harder to kill the Defender if you try to rush them.

2 RepliesIt might be(is) OP In pvp. Weapons if light, a high impact sniper and you're set. Just place your bubble in a corner so people have to come directly at you but you just body shot them.

What if there was an exotic though that would make the bubble indestructible but at the cost of duration. Maybe cut ot by 1/3 of its normal time. What I mean by indestructible is nothing will be able to pop it. Not gg not nova bomb and not even those hammers. Or maybe instead of the cost of duration it would cancel out the perk applied such as wol aol or bol. This would balance it because they have no boost from the shield only the protection. So someone could come in a kill them easyily enough if they were good enough to. Also this would cancel any perks from any other teammates bubbles thay way it can't be abused. You step into a wol bubble while your is activated you will not get wol. Or it could cancel out the indestructible perk and make your bubble vulnerable. This woild make it impossible to be abused. Sounds like it would be lots of fun watching a gunslinger waste 3 shots or a voidwalker look dumbfounded after launching the novabomb. Or even watch a titan waste all his hammers.

Sounds cool but it sounds sadly be game breaking. If there was a player who could do damage while not taking damage this community would lose its shit

My suggestion is that, When you are inside your bubble you have a cloak ability that activates like the hunter invisibility. (3 seconds without firing and your invisible) So, there would be a downfall which is, when you leave your bubble for 3 seconds or more, you lose the invisibility. I currently don't have an idea for an exotic with the perk.

Instead of weapon being 1.5x damage or whatever it is, it could be able to shoot from inside the bubble. But that would still be OP
