Let's get creative and post your own Ghost Fragments about your character below!
Here is what I'd like my Ghost Fragment to say (I warn you, it's a long one):
Legend: Rossie
It is dark, so dark.
I cannot see my Guardian. I can faintly hear the shots from his handcannon and the whistle of his bow in the distance. These are the only sounds to be heard at all.
He is desparate, he has lost me in these black, jagged caves. My Light is starting to fade and so I will begin to erase the all of the data I have collected over the many years I spent with him. I recount what brought us here, to the moon:
Zavala: Guardian, Cayde's scouts have picked up some strange Hive activity on the moon. I want you to go the centre of it and deal with them before they become an issue. I've transmitted the details to your Ghost. Good luck out there.
*upon arrival to Luna*
Eris: I sense something, the churning hellmouth has now fallen silent. Strange...
Something is happening. Find the source.
*at the gates of Temple of Crota*
Cayde: Guardian stop, you need to get out! The Hive are planning an ambu-
(radio crackling)
Ghost: Radios gone, we've lost them. What do you want to do?
Guardian: I don't like this. Somethings off. Let's get back to the ship. *A single roar is heard before everything turns black*
I rise to be separated from my Guardian in a dark, unmapped area of the Hellmouth hearing only faint gunfire and silence.
The seconds fly by and soon he has fallen silent. I am alone in the dark abyss of the Hellmouth where the shadows have eyes and the ground has teeth.
Then I begin to hear something far away. Almost a whisper in the night. The Hive are here and they are watching me. I try to find a path, something to lead me to outside but all I see is nothingness.
The whispers is louder now. I can begin to determine what the sound is. They are chanting quietly in the distance in some form of ritual. The same single word over and over. I begin to see a light as I move toward the chanting.
I can see him. But he is limp, and out of my reach. The Hive are in circle around his lifeless corpse, chanting and chanting with their hands risen, almost in gratitude.
They are larger the normal acolytes and knights found on the moon. They have broader shoulders with peculiar green energy spilling off them like mist. Their eyes are black and empty like the Darkness, instead of the green glow they usually have.
I try to reach him but I'm forced back by an unyielding power which blocks my quickly fading Light.
Their chanting grows louder and louder until an explosion of Darkness erupts from the body of the once Light filled Guardian I traveled with for so long. The mass of Darkness is writhing as I hide behind a rock, not daring to look. The Hive chanting now turns to screeching and roars as the ball of Dark takes its shape.
In a deep, low thundering voice the being roars "THERE IS LIGHT HERE, SHOW YOURSELF!"
I am propelled against my will out from behind the rock to face the creature. It's Darkness fills the whole room. Only a faint outline can be seen of it. It sees me and thunders
"LIGHT, I AM NOKRIS! AND I AM THE HERALD OF YOUR END!"
The Darkness swarms toward me and everything ceases.

Ghost Fragment : Strategies Found in Crotas raid.
They came unprepared. The fell. We came ready to kill a god. We succeeded. The early explorers of the hellmouth had no chance. They could've never imagined how power he would be, and in the end that was there mistake. This time we fought. We came in spoils of the fallen fireteam from the now shattered vault and the highest level engineering of vangaurd gear. We ran, crossed, and fought. But he was something else. A coordination of a full team would be necessary. But there were guardians of the light who lived for the challenge of intellect. We learned he had his shield bound to his soul, which made him weak, and his own swords could do incredible damage to him. We cleared, ran, shot... Hit. Hit. Hit. And now we ran into another challenge. The application of new strategies in an attempt to make his downfall faster for him because we were merciful. We harnessed the power of the bladedancer order and the defenders strength to increase the effectiveness of the fight. Once we had learned his weaknesses, he was no match, we killed his minions quicker and quicker, his swordbearers learned the meaning of pain. And we had one firearm that was his true downfall. We kill, shot,... Hit hit hit. Hit hit hit. Closer now, we could feel the power of the fallen gaurdians surging through us, and the entire vangaurd watching, this was our only hope to stop the infestation from spreading even further. Only once more we had to tear his soul apart and strike him. Only once more did we have to make him kneel to us. We dispatched the ogres with haste with expert positioning and excessive force. Once we were prepared and he was in the right position we set up our final attempt. We shoot... Hit. Hit.... To kill a God.
This is mostly inspired because of my main focus and expertise of the crota raid, 87 full completions and alot more just crota kills. I came up with a couple of the strats we used throughout our time killing him, like killing the acolytes through the glass and I was one of the (if not the) first people on the forums to have the idea of titan blocking and bladedancer use.

Shadow of the Light
My guardian was quite the young exo. Only reset 6 times. But he was there ever since those first few days. Those days when the vanguard was finally large enough to send out guardians, and many of us ghost to find our guardian. I found him in a ditch not too far from the walls in Japanese dead zone. Poor guy. His exo body hadn't had light run through it in years. But least to say when he rebooted he was as jumpy as any Hunter is when left without a gun. But as cunning seeing as he had his knife. A date was etched into it "Never forget 09/18/2047" He's never told me the significance of this date. If I had to guess it was when his mind was implemented into and exo? We were on the Dreadnought. Last place his light shined... Oryx had already been defeated, body hurtling toward Saturn. But what made my guardians light flicker was that god forsaken rupture... He said "WE'RE NOT DONE WITH THIS PLACE YET! I... I will find every hive that is hiding in this tub. And burn them with my light!" We had gotten separated upon entering the rupture. That was the last time I had seen him. Presumed dead. Or maybe he's lurking in the shadows? A guardian without a ghost is like a death sentence, but I'm sure he's fine... I'm sure.. he'll find. an.-dkbshauoj. Other ghost-!$*Y@#!(00000101010101010101101010100000000........ Ghost light signature at 0%. Ghost:DEAD.
Ghost fragment: Mystery
We've been lost so long. Or.. maybe just an instant. I can't tell anymore. My team chased after whispers and legends of guardians past into this damned cave...This place.. This. vault. We've wondering aimlessly in fear for too long. My ghost can't see where he left his..breadcrumbs.. How much deeper does this rabbit hole go? It's telling me things i can't remember. Or maybe I'm about to hear them? Relative thinking. Find a center. For yourself. Think. It's all these damned machines do! What's real? What's now? My team?.. Gone. Me? Alone with my ghost.. But how? That flash of light.. Or was it dark. Then my team... The shouting... Then the silence. Why didn't it take me?.. It should have taken me. Instead it grabbed me, took me forth.. Not like one would a treasure, or a jewel. But alike a judge to his gavel. It Spoke to me. To my very being. "I have learned much. Now must you. I've stared ahead into long darks and scorching lights. I have found a way. You will no longer be alone." My ghost beckons to me now. It opened a door! I step forth. I'm on Mars. The Black Garden entrance. But it's different somehow. No It's my eyes. I Feel an itch, or a string. It pulls so strong... Into.. The sky? I see a warsat falling from space. I tell my ghost to leave me. One final word however. "Leave me, for I feel more then light in my flesh. You can feel it too, little one. Take another guardian if you wish. Give him a team to remember fondly." The warsat hits the martian sand. "But I must go. Not alone however. For I have a whisper in my mind, and we must learn how to step"
Edited by BanditNation: 1/6/2016 6:33:08 AMLegend: Vidar-13
"Ghost?" 'Yes, Guardian?' "You ever wonder why we're here?" 'It's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it. Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of... some cosmic coincidence or, is there a God... watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know Guardian, but it keeps me up at night.' "..." '...' "What? I meant why are we out here, on the Dreadnaught? 'Oh, uh... yeah.' "What was all that stuff about God?" 'Uh... hm? Nothing.' "You wanna talk about it?" 'No.' "You sure?" 'Yeah.' "Seriously though, why are we out here? Far as I can tell, it's just a giant ship in the rings of Saturn, with a massive hole in its side." 'Mhm.' "And the only reason that we set up a patrol beacon here, is because they have territory damn near everywhere else. And the only reason they have territory everywhere else is because we haven't killed Oryx yet." 'Yeah, that's because we're fighting each other.' "No no, but I mean, even if we were to pull out today, and they were to come take our beacon, they would have complete control here again. Whoop de -blam!-ing do!" 'What's up with that anyway? I mean, I signed up to open some doors. Next thing I know two Cabal try to blow up the whole Hive armada, and we're stuck in the middle of a giant-ass ship, and I'm watching you fight a bunch of Taken.'
Edited by meep01: 1/5/2016 5:15:51 PMLegend:Asay and Red Death
Voice 1: Have you heard the latest rumors? They say he is dead. Voice 2: Rumors are rumors, no body has been found. Voice 1: But the weapon has been. Voice 2: *silence* Voice 1: I've heard what they say. The Vanguard have tried to destroy it, but it cannot be broken, cannot be undone, the hunger is too strong, too fierce. Voice 2: But then what will be done with it? How do they plan to...control it. Voice 1: the Vanguard has given it to the Nine for protection, but the Vanguard is foolish. The Nine have their own agenda, and we cannot control their decisions. Voice 2: But if he is still alive...and if he somehow regains the weapon... Voice 1: Do not speak of it now, I can't bear the thought of losing any more Guardians to that, that thing. I don't think we would be able to withstand his rampage a second time. He will be listed among the exiled: Dregden Yor, Osiris. Voice 2: I don't mean to justify him but what could he have done? The weapon, the power, the hunger, it consumed him, he stood no chance. Voice 1: Did the weapon consume the man, or the man consume the weapon? Voice 2: *silence*
