This was my 4022nd death, in which I ended. I saw so much as a Thatonaut. New ways of death, visions of time and space in the emptied void. On my last death, I sought the better way of death. Greater visions require the right place, the right way. I plugged myself into the Narthex. The power core of the Dreadnaught. I split a wire in half, each end buzzing with dark energy, and applied both to electrodes on my skull. It was rather painful. [b]I saw the past. The brass of the Vex at the dawn of time. The first swing of Willbreaker. A shallow grave, on Mercury, for a man slain in haste, and fear. I saw the future. The Dreadnaught in flames. The last of the Hive screaming at the Deep that had rejected them. A Knight charged at me. He said, "You do not belong. The Light has no place where the Darkness rises. You have destroyed us. You have belittled us."[/b] But the Dreadnaught wasn't the only place in flames. I saw much in 4022 deaths. My Ghost is powerless, and weak. Captured by the Hive, unable to revive me.
