Oryx challenge + Moldering Shards
So, I just finished a group for Oryx Hard Challenge. We finally got it down, it takes my moldering shards as usual, and I didn't get the extras. All I got was my challenge stuff. I feel cheated.

No that is a very possibility zero drops That's why I only do challenge modes now or the other activities IB or srl

3 RepliesMoldering shards only gives you normal loot drops, and he can take 20 shards and give you back 2 as your extra normal loot table drop. It's bungie saying -blam!- you on the DL. Happens to me frequently, if you're above 310 on all your characters moldering shards are useless besides some free legendary marks from breaking the gear down.

Mouldering shards in general was a stupid idea. They become completely useless when you stop doing normal mode

Oryx can troll you even in death. Last challenge I got really lucky got a 320 helmet and 320 smite. This time I'm hoping for 2 weapons but that just means I will get a helmet and shards.
