*he scans for the nearest 'hotspot' of life and flies the fighter to it. He activates his fighter's shields just in case

There are hot spots everywhere, but it doesn't matter— you can't get to them anyways. BioScience is the only port not locked down. You do notice that a small portion is void of life— Labeled under "Holding Block B-25A."
