"I had my solo license for a week when my instructor rang saying the mining colonies were commissioning a couple of commercial flights, just passengers and some light freight. No heavy equipment infact a nice easy job. It takes 3 days to get to the colonies, there was only 36 hrs in deep space where your out of immediate retrieval. I took the passenger flight [i] Her pain at that decision was evident.[/i] " There was a mother 'Violet, her 15 year old son Michael , and a ....10 year old girl Emma. There were also two engineers starting their 18 month rotation on the colonies. She was taking the kids to see their dad out at the installation. Everything was normal until we went dark , to warp. [i] She closes her eyes.[/i] " The alarm on the air lock and I went to turn when I had a blade at my throat,they had chucked the boy out the airlock. the woman and daughter were held seperately. so long as they did what the were told, there other wouldn't get hurt. I was to fly to somewhere only an hour from the original ldrop off. for 36 hours they tortured and brutalized that little girl and her mother. For 36 hour I was powerless to do anything ." " the little girl died of injuries related ,at which point her mother shut down . " Later I heard them discuss if they thought i would still be any use as a pilot , if..... well you get the idea, so I went into survival mode. I waited til one was alone, made a pass at him and stuck my blade in his throat. stashed his body,rinsed and repeated. I took us all on to the colonies , but there was only the mother left. She gave up and hour from docking, I found her body in the bathroom."

[i] Lance is silent, gazing at Light.[/i] "I'm sorry Light."

" It took me less then 12 min to dispatch them once I thought they were coming after me, I could saved violet and Emma , if I hadn't been such a fking coward. So you want to know what makes me angry , it's not acting when you should."

[i] A small grimace crosses his face, and she could practically see the gears turning in his head.[/i]

" Well, I shared , you gonna back out on me?" [i]She puts her hand out to interlink with his.[/i]

"What? Of course not." [i] The look of thought is still on his face as he intertwines his hand with hers, biting his bottom lip in concentration.[/i]

" so what has u all bent out of shape come your Mr poker face whats eating at you?"

"I could go back and save them.." [i]He trails off, twirling a lock of her hair around his finger.[/i]

[b] She sighs,some part of her aches to do just that, but she knows what the punishment is for messing with the timeline , a small shake of the head [/b] " Can't mess with things and it won'tchange what I have done will it. ": [i]stroking his hair[/i]

"Yeah...." [i] He trails off, kissing her on the lips lightly and resting his head down.[/i]

" I appreciate the offer but , no, I'll get there, so long as I have you with me." [i]she rests her forehead against his.[/i]

"Of course." [i]His eyes on hers; his breath cold and light on her face.[/i] "I love you Light." [i] He says, a step above a whisper.[/i]

[i] Her eyes lock with his , the grey gaining a luminous quality , as she gazes into his.[/i] " I know, and I love you, [i]then a slightly resined smile crosses her lips, [/i] " always have."

[i]A smile crosses his lips, one of such happiness and joy that she's never seen from Lance. He kisses her on the mouth before pulling away and resting his hand on her stomach, and his other hand under his head, closing his eyes.[/i]
