Maybe some of you already know Xim, maybe some of you don't. What it does is that it allows you to play console games with mouse & keyboard. So, what do you think. Hacks? Unfair? I was just curious. I don't own one but would love to try it. ;> * Gameplay footage: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ips9qF3CYpg Discuss below. Do me a favor while you're at it, tell something about your dog, religion or one of the whiners below.
http://store.xim4.com/assets/images/xim4productshot.jpg
I've been using K&M on Console for a little while now, I can agree, it's unfair in competitive multiplayer, as you're definitely granted an advantage over another player on controller. K&M doesn't translate very well to console though, many games on console use Look Acceleration and Aim Assist which can seriously screw with your aiming ability with the mouse, Halo 5 being a good example, as it makes the aim feel very slippery. Sensitivity is also very slow, if any PC players are use to CS and TF2, they'll have to throw their preferences in the bin, because you can only move so fast, no matter what settings you're using on your connecting device. I come from a Doom, Quake, Unreal Tournament, TF2 so, I personally feel more comfortable using K&M, I use it for roughly 90% of my console gaming, as I don't own a PC powerful enough to play games these days and my trusty ol' laptop ain't up to par anymore. Overall, it's a big shift from 1:1 PC gaming, but, it works fine and feels comfortable for the most part. Is it unfair to other players? Yes Should you play competitive PvP with it? No Is it breaking any rules? No In fact, Sony just recently licensed their first K&M set-up a couple days ago, Google it.
